Paola Gadala-Maria is a NY based, Miami bred filmmaker, of Hispanic and Middle-Eastern descent.
Paola began her career in the documentary world, and has since expanded to commercial and narrative video production. Her projects range from producing feature documentaries covering the U.S. penitentiary system to directing marketing videos for educational companies such as Scholastic. Paola recently worked as a field producer for the Netflix/Vice Mexico documentary series, A Voice For Many, following Selena Quintanilla’s influence in the world. She is currently producing an independent, feature documentary based in NY, airing on PBS, and a BET documentary series, following five of Klutch Sports’ players in preparation for the NBA’s annual draft.
